It all depends on how well-mastered the recording is and the quality of components in the audio chain. A brickwalled digital master will sound terrible when pressed to vinyl and played back

With vinyl the drums sound like hits . I think thats due to the impact the drum waveforms have when the needle passes over the drum wave . I like that about vinyl

is there a way to do this but with just two channels? id like to get bookshelf speakers and much bigger floor speakers. the receiver i have is good for the bookshelf and i can match the ohms for the floor standing but its still not nearly enough power to drive them properly. Long story short, i want to do stereo with 4 speakers. Any info or help would be immensely appreciated. Thanks.

There is just so much wrong in this video. Man...what a load of crap. Speakers arent an exact flat 4 or 8 ohm all the time. If you knew anything about speakers, you would know that impedance varies as it plays. Even your Klipsh will vary. Man....I have no more words...this guy has no clue what he is talking about.

You really have to do a close up on the screen for these adjustments I have a 2 channel amp for the fronts total 7.2.4 I need better twicking info from you thanks

I have no idea how you can think that the listener will be able to tell an honest difference when you are recording on a cellphone.

I've had my X800M2 for about 3 months. Have had no issues at all so far playing any 4K discs. However I have had 2 standard Bluray discs (Layer Cake and Star Trek First Contact) freeze at the point of layer change (c. 1h 10m elapsed time), no longer have the box I'm afraid. It is notable that home burned content and other discs which didn't work properly in my previous (Sony blu ray player) work fine on my X800.

I have a Norma Acoustic Electric I bought in '66. sunburst (Gibson knockoff ) finish. Still plays well and all original pickups. lost the whammy bar and replaced with a nearly identical fender bar, lol

Have you tried turning 4k upscale to off and cinema conversion mode to video? Others say this works.

You held the camera at slightly different angles each test hence the difference (tweeters are highly directional) and not by biwiring. Benefits of biwiring is a myth. Btw biamping is also pointless in 99% of cases. Use the extra amps to add more speakers (heights, rear surround etc, don't waste it on biamping.

Not a fair test on my phone. But when i have time it's something worth trying.

I suggest with Sony x700 4k player,turn off 4k upscaling in setup and turn to video Cinema comparison mode. I've had no freezing so far with this model.

when I first purchased my UBP X-1000 started freezing with all Blue ray or 4K disks so I figured I had to return it. I remodel my living room and forgot about it . After a year I installed my player back again and keep having the same, I watch a few videos and found out what the real problem is , I fix it by turning off the HDR upscaling while playing Blue ray or 4K

I never have these problems with my old oppo 230..

Spoiler alert: This issue wasn't resolved with a later firmware, in fact Sony decided to just abandon these malfunctioning players.

It might be a over heating issue , maybe its similar to the ps4 over heating issue , maybe they need to use better quility thermal compound and leave the black top cover off so it has airflow through the vent holes

Never gone with 4K, normal blu ray is superb. I said 4K would die before these problems are solved and looks like that is going to happen. Not a fan of dodgy home cinema. Overpriced and unreliable.

Don't use Them. THEY HAVE BE HOUNDING ME FOE $134 FOR 3 YEARS. THEY turned me into a lawyer and I have proof that we canceled the day after we set up our new service with AT&T fiber. We didn't use any of their service that month and they still charged us.

First of all Bi wiring and Bi amping is not the same. Second Bi wiring and Bi amping was created to use in speakers that have the LF and Hf, completely separated from each other, (NO use of Crossovers) Bi wiring does not do absolutely nothing, no difference what so ever, because the only think you doing is using 2 wired instead of one, but both are connected to the same initial connector, so you are using a single connection out from the amp. This has been debunk already. Bi amping will make a tiny difference because you are using 2 amps and 2 separate connections, but at the end you face the same issue the internal crossovers of the speaker, you cannot bypass them. The only speaker that I have tested and makes some type of difference is the Focal's as Focal do not use any crossovers, each driver is basically build for the tonality it was created. My Equipment. McIntosh MX 180, MC 1.25W mono blocks, Sonus Faber Aida, and custom Stevens 9 gauge cables. I have rested with many cables, Kimber, Mogami, Audioquest K2 single and Biwired, Crystalcable, Gobel, etc, now I only get Stevens custom 9 gauge.
